GPS Blog #6 – April 14th

GamePlan were delighted to assist the NHS in securing talent for their latest ‘#OurNHSHeroes’ video – part of the Thank You Thursday initiative.

The initiative encourages everyone to take a moment out of their busy lives to give thanks to those NHS workers who are saving lives on the frontline, during the continued chaos of COVID-19.

Our talent: Ben Cohen & Kristina Rihanoff, David & Frankie Seaman and Kyran Bracken were all more than happy to get involved with the video to express their own personal gratitude.

Amongst our talent in the video are celebrities such as: Olivia Coleman, Billie Eilish, Stephen Fry, Frank Lampard and Ant & Dec… full video can be found on Twitter – @NHSEngland.

Here at GamePlan we would like to also give a massive thank you to the NHS, carers and key workers for all their continued hard work. Thank you!

GPS Blog #5 – April 6th 2020

The evening of March 5th was an exciting one for GamePlan and our Rugby star Kyran Bracken, as he hosted his second Rugby Legends Dinner at Twickenham Stadium. Heroes of the game in attendance were: Zinzan Brooke, Sir Gareth Edwards, Jason Leonard, Kelly Brown and Colin Charvis. After the meal Kyran MC’ed an entertaining Q&A  with Kelly Brown and his guitar bringing that lively evening to a close.

Elsewhere, our Footballing legend David Seaman (an official UEFA ambassador for Euro 2020), had the honour of being invited out to Amsterdam to participate in the UEFA Nations League Draw 20/21. The results mean England have been drawn in a challenging group with Belgium, Denmark and Iceland.

Comedy Central’s Gods of The Game featured our star Ben Cohen on the 26th March. Ben had a lot of fun as a ‘Rugby God’ taking on members of the public in Rugby themed challenges. We feel sorry for the individual that Ben had to tackle!

Lastly, GamePlan was delighted to hear that our client, the lovely Jo Wilson, has announced that she is pregnant. Congratulations Jo!

Stay safe.

GPS Blog #3 – March 17th 2020

March 16th saw our last Guinness Six Nations episode of the ‘Ruck It!’ series released across all popular streaming platforms. The series of podcasts analysed each weeks round of Six Nations fixtures and results, along with some light-hearted rugby banter from hosts Kyran Bracken and Nick Easter.

We’re really pleased with how well-received ‘Ruck It!’ has been, with a steadily increasing audience number with content picked up mainstream British media. Both Kyran and Nick thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we look forward to launching another series in the future. Follow @RuckIt_Podcast on Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest developments!

In other news, the developments of COVID-19 has stunned the world. Our client, scientist and decision-making expert, Liv Boeree spoke on BBC Radio about the cognitive biases affecting people’s reasoning around the virus, and examined the risk and probability of the outcomes of this pandemic for mankind.

Here at GamePlan we wish everyone well during this period of uncertainty.

Blog Post #2 – ‘RuckIt!’

We’re delighted to be working alongside Listening Dog Media in the ongoing production of new rugby podcast ‘Ruck It!’

Ruck It!, hosted by our client Kyran Bracken and Nick Easter, takes a lively look into all things rugby and the current Six Nations tournament. We’re three episodes in and the shows have been widely well-received and praised. The BBC’s pregame coverage of the Calcutta Cup match gave the pod a plug as well as quotes from the guys picked up by The Times, Daily Mirror and other media outlets.

Our network in this space has allowed us to procure great names as special guests, including; Scott Hastings, Martin Offiah and Serge Betsen.

Follow our Twitter (@RuckIt_Podcast) for all of the latest Ruck It! episodes and news.

GPS Blog #1 – January 10th 2020

Here at GamePlan we’ve hit the ground running for 2020.

Our long-standing client David Seaman and his wife Frankie appeared on BBC’s hit show Pointless Celebrities, pitting their ‘Pointless’ knowledge against the fellow sporting contestants!

Supporting our friends at the BBC, GamePlan arranged for former Quins captain and England international Nick Easter to film with them in the Twickenham changing rooms for a 6 Nations
preview show. Nick recalled his fond memories of his playing days and the rivalry between the English and the Welsh.

Elsewhere Darren Campbell’s ‘Inside Track’ BBC 5 Live show covered off a nice range of topics including the ECB’s The Hundred, boxing stories and goings on in the world of athletics.

The first week of January also saw our client, AstrophysicistLiv Boeree travel to Shanghai China to deliver a keynote for a high-profile technology company. Liv’s keynote on the science behind decision and risk taking continues to be well-received and engaging.

GamePlan are really excited about the upcoming year and look forward to what it brings.
