David Seaman once again joined up with Soccer Aid, the high profile match created by Robbie Williams in 2006, that raises money for children’s charity UNICEF. David was part of the England management team alongside Stormzy, Emma Hayes, Vicky McClure and Harry Redknapp
The contest saw the charity match’s first female captain, Lioness Jill Scott for England, and Usain Bolt return to captain the Soccer Aid World XI FC. The sell out game at Old Trafford, screened on ITV raises £14.6 million. This brings the total raised since it was founded to over £90m.
The World XI beat England 4-2.
