Agency MD  Matt enjoyed a memorable trip to South Africa for International Nelson Mandela Day (18th July), introducing London Mayor Sadiq Khan to client Dr Makaziwe Mandela and Tukwini Mandela.

The first Mayor of London to lead a trade mission to Africa, Sadiq Khan was visiting Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa in order to boost trade and growth and further develop cultural links. (Four cities in five days – Lagos, Accra, Johannesburg and Cape Town).

Dr Mandela and daughter Tukwini received the Mayor at their Johannesburg home. They spoke on President Mandela’s life and legacy and how relevant it is to the present day. They also chatted on the President’s impact on British civil rights history and London’s role in the anti-apartheid movement, as well as speaking business and entrepreneurship.

Football pundit and former England international Paul Merson was warmly welcomed in Derbyshire as a special guest at a regional Slimming World Awards event. Known for his honesty and transformation journey, Paul delivered a heartfelt message of support and encouragement to the hundreds of members celebrating their achievements.

The event recognised individual milestones, group successes, and the life-changing stories that make the Slimming World community so powerful. Paul’s candidness, humour, and inspirational words resonated deeply with attendees, making the day even more meaningful.

We were delighted to have former England and Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman support the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge in Battersea Park, London. David took on multiple roles throughout the evening — from official race starter to enthusiastic cheerleader and awards presenter — bringing his trademark energy and warmth to this world-renowned corporate event.

Now in its 37th year, the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge attracted over 14,000 runners from hundreds of companies across the UK. It was an inspiring night of fitness, teamwork, and community spirit — and David’s presence added a real sense of occasion to the proceedings.

GamePlan Solutions was proud once again to work with cricket legend Lord Ian Botham, who joined the annual RAC Cricket Club Dinner as a special guest. Held at one of London’s most iconic private venues, the evening brought together sports enthusiasts, club members, and special guests for a night of laughter, nostalgia, and insight into the life of one of cricket’s most revered figures.

Lord Botham shared behind-the-scenes stories from his illustrious career, touching on moments of triumph, team camaraderie, and lessons from both on and off the pitch. It was an unforgettable evening celebrating the spirit of cricket and the legacy of a true sporting icon.
