David Seaman – World Heart Day

GamePlan client and British Heart Foundation ambassador David Seaman joined talkSPORT to help recognise World Heart Day.

David shared his own experiences and spoke about the importance of heart health, combining his profile as an England and Arsenal legend with his work supporting the British Heart Foundation.

A powerful message from someone using his platform to help make a difference.

Terry Butcher x Wembley Hospitality – England v Spain

Great to work with Wembley once again, this time engaging former England captain Terry Butcher for hospitality around England v Spain.

Terry spent time with guests in the VIP suites, sharing stories and memories from his England career and adding some genuine football experience to the occasion.

Eric Cantona – European Tour

It was a pleasure to tour once again with the one and only Eric Cantona.

GamePlan contracted Eric for a four-date tour with our partners Legends7 and GM Entertainments, taking him to Belfast and Cork  for shows, before concluding with two sold-out dates in Manchester.

Across the tour, Eric shared stories from his football journey — from growing up in the south of France to arriving in England and signing for Manchester United — as well as insights into his creative side, music and remarkably active acting career.

Four cities, packed audiences and plenty of unforgettable Cantona stories.

Poland v England Legends – Peter Shilton

A fantastic few days in Poland as GamePlan Solutions contracted England legend Peter Shilton to manage the England Legends team for a special Poland v England Legends match at the iconic Stadion Śląski in Chorzów.

The match formed part of the stadium’s 70th anniversary celebrations, marking seven decades since the famous venue first opened in 1956.

There was also plenty of history behind the fixture, with the game recreating the famous Poland v England rivalry at the stadium — particularly the legendary 1973 World Cup qualifier, when Poland famously beat England 2–0 in what became known as the “Witches’ Cauldron”.

Peter led an impressive England Legends side featuring the likes of John Terry, Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Tony Adams and Emile Heskey, while Polish legends included Zbigniew Boniek, Łukasz Piszczek and Artur Boruc.

The occasion ended with another memorable result, as Poland’s legends ran out 4–2 winners — making for a fittingly dramatic anniversary celebration.
