The Thorntons Sports Challenge Dinner and Sports Quiz, raises money for Archie Foundation which is the charity at the local children’s hospital in Dundee.

Rugby World Cup winner Mark Regan joined BFBS, co-commentating at Twickenham Stadium for the annual Army v Navy rugby clash.
BFBS is the home of UK entertainment, news, music & information for a military audience. On 13th May there was a full programme of rugby that started with the stars of the future from the Army Cadets and the youth sections of Devonport Services RFC. and US Portsmouth RFC. With the 104th men’s match kicking off at 14:00 and the 19th women’s match concluded the day, kicking off at 17:00. Both games were played for the Babcock trophy
The men’s Royal Navy Rugby Union thrashed the British Army to win the Babcock Inter Services Trophy for the first time since 2010. The Army Women beat the Navy.
A brand ambassador for Fishing Republic, David joined parent company JD Outdoors at the Business Charity Awards at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel. David was supporting JD Outdoors being nominated for the Charity Partnership Award (For an outstanding partnership between a company in the fashion, clothing or retail sectors and a UK charity.
Born from a shared belief in the power of the outdoors on mental wellbeing, the JD Outdoor and Mind partnership has inspired tens of thousands of people to get their ‘hats on’ and get outdoors for their mental health.
From November 2022 to February 2023, JD Outdoor brands GO Outdoors, Millets, Blacks and Fishing Republic sold bespoke Mind-branded hats to raise vital funds for Mind. The campaign featured four celebrity ambassadors – Helen Skelton, Julia Bradbury, David Seaman and Sean Fletcher – and five Mind lived experience volunteers, sharing conversations about how getting outdoors has had a positive impact on their wellbeing.
Since launching in November, the ‘Hats on for Mind’ campaign has been seen over 715M times, sold over 32,000 Mind branded hats and doubled the fundraising target, raising over £210,000!
On Wednesday 3rd May, GamePlan arranged for Rugby World Cup winners Mike Tindall and Jason Robinson to participate at MBN Events’ RWC Glory Dinner. In attendance were key members of the 2003 Rugby World Cup winning squad, along with current players and coaches such as; Steve Borthwick, Kevin Sinfield, Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje. Everyone enjoyed fantastic food, drink & entertainment, all in the aid of fundraising for three amazing MND charities.
Once again supporting our partners Legends7, the agency contracted Ole Gunnar Solskjær for a prestigious event at the Mercure Hotel, Manchester. This ticketed dinner for fans, after taking photos with the VIP guests, Ole enjoyed the meal before taking the stage for a wide ranging fireside chat covering his playing and management career. A fantastic evening.
England sealed a Six Nations Grand Slam in front of a record women’s crowd of 58,498 at Twickenham, holding on for victory against France on a landmark day for the sport.
Hannah started at prop and put in a big shift in the tight and loose, including some epic turnovers (celebrated in style).
Fans descended on the Clapham Grand for the first live recording of David’s popular podcast Seaman Says.
VIP guests enjoyed a photo and meet and greet with David and special guest Ray Parlour, before the show was kicked off by Perry Groves.
In the first half, Perry chatted with David on his career, taking in Leeds, Peterborough, Birmingham and QPR before arriving at Arsenal. Ray then joined the stage as they reminisced on their Arsenal days.
After the interval, podcast co-host Lynsey Hooper and the producers Adam and Callum took to the stage to record the podcast.
During the show fans were able to win prizes and a couple of punters took on a penalty saving challenge against David, Ray and the rest of the team.
