Dr Mandela was invited by Soipaz, to deliver a keynote at the 2nd Ibero-American meeting of Voces Por la Paz (Voices for Peace).
The theme of the event was on peace in a global context, centered on freedom of the press as an essential part of a peaceful society. This is due to the fact that in Mexico there is a big problem regarding deaths of journalists.
Alongside her keynote and Q&A, Dr Mandela, on her first trip to the country, attended a collection of formal meals, meetings a press conference and a selection of media interviews.
GamePlan was briefed to deliver a group of football legends, to attend an exclusive private dinner at a luxury villa on the outskirts of Berlin, on the Friday ahead of the Euro final on the 14th July.

Dr Mandela flew into Calgary to speak at the annual World Diversity in Leadership conference run by the Centre For Intellectual Excellence (CeFIE).
It was a wonderful 3-day event with a great mix of speakers from Canada and further afield, such as former Mexico President Felipe Calderon.
The conference is an annual international event that brings together senior officials/policy makers, researchers, community members and leaders from private corporations to share ideas on how to address emerging issues within the Equity, Diversity And Inclusive (EDI) framework.
In addition to delivering a keynote and participating in a Q&A, Dr Mandela took meetings with the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, Salma Lakhani, and the Mayor of Calgary, Jyoti Gondek.
