Ben Cohen / Mark Regan– England v France – Twickenham Hospitality

In the penultimate game of the Guinness 6 Nations, France travelled to Twickenham. Ben and Mark were booked again to glad hand guests in the hospitality suites at HQ and share their insight, memories and thoughts pre and post game.

Liv Boeree – 15 Feb – 3DS Nashville

Travelling in from her home in Austin, Texas, Liv headed to Nashville, to speak on the behalf of Dassault Systèmes.

She delivered a very well received keynote at the 3DEXPERIENCE conference, which had the theme, Imagine All We Can Achieve Together

3DEXPERIENCE World brings a vibrant community of designers, engineers, entrepreneurs and business leaders together to learn, engage, share knowledge and drive innovation.

The audience was made up of designers and engineers who make physical products. They are big fans of STEM and anything related to outer space, so Liv’s keynote was crafted to be inspirational and challenge people’s thinking. She covered counter-intuitive speech, AI topics as well as sharing some of the lessons she learned from professional poker that can be applied in the business/personal worlds.

Ben & Kristina – Engagement Party – Hello!

In ‘The Studio’ at the Andaz Hotel in central London, Ben and Kristina closest friends and family for an intimate engagement party.

Given that the proposal took place at the Soneva resort in the Maldives, it was an opportunity to celebrate with their nearest and dearest,

Hello! magazine were in attendance to exclusively cover the party.

Dr Makaziwe Mandela – Booking Holdings

In recognition of Black History Month (USA), Booking Holdings, parent company of the likes of OpenTable, Kayak and CheapFlights booked Dr Mandela for a virtual event, this was part of their See It. Be It Speaker Series. 17,000 colleagues were invited to attend.

Debbie Soo, CEO of OpenTable led the discussion.

Dr Makaziwe Mandela – Netapp

In Celebration of Black History Month (USA), Netapp were seeking a speaker with a compelling message about allyship, advocacy, diversity, resilience which resonates with colleague. Dr Mandela was booked.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging is a business imperative at NetApp and foundational to success.  They strive to build a culture of belonging as this is part of our culture and values.

They promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging and strive to make it part of their DNA and embedded in our policies and practices.

They also promote inclusive leadership at all levels.  Anyone can lead inclusively, despite your title or role.

Yolanda DuCille; VP of Communications hosted expertly led the fireside chat with Dr Mandela.

Post event Netapp ran a feedback survey:

  • 84% rated their overall experience with this event as very satisfied
  • 100% satisfied with the speaker and content
  • 95% thought the session was relevant to their work or life  and agreed the session strengthened their understanding of DEI&B

Seaman Says Live – 24th April – Clapham Grand

Seaman Says, the weekly podcast from England & Arsenal legend David Seaman, is doing its first live recording in front of an audience at London’s Clapham Grand on Monday 24th April.

The show will include an interview with Seaman who’ll discuss his illustrious career in football, from his days as an apprentice in Leeds, through to lifting the FA Cup as Arsenal captain and becoming one of the most capped players in England history having represented his country at iconic tournaments including Euro ’96.

In addition to the Q&A, there’ll also be a live recording of that week’s podcast episode with audience participation & prize giveaways featuring throughout. There’ll also be a special guest appearance from one of David’s former teammates, Ray Parlour.

Talking about Seaman Says Live, David said “I can’t wait to record Seaman Says in front of a live audience for the very first time! We have a laugh in every recording so it’ll be fun to share that experience with hundreds of our listeners. I just hope Arsenal & Leeds win that weekend!”
