GPS Blog #9 – 17th July 2020

Tomorrow, the 18th July, as well as being the birthday of Nelson Mandela, the date marks Nelson Mandela International Day. This was declared by the UN General Assembly in 2009, in recognition of the former South African President’s contribution to the culture of peace and freedom.

On the eve of this special day, it’s with great pleasure that GamePlan can announce that we’re now working exclusively with Dr Makaziwe (Maki) Mandela, Nelson’s eldest daughter. GPS will be focused on opportunities outside Africa in terms of amplifying her voice on matters such as; Female Empowerment, Leadership, Social Justice, Commercial Farming and Prison Reform, along with managing media engagements and driving awareness of the House of Mandela Family Foundation.
